Haaaappy Monday to you all! I am heading into another week of work with a fridge full of food and a happy tummy. I have found so many great products this week and have been experimenting in the kitchen to come up with new recipes!! I’ll be sharing those recipes later this week and next week. I am so excited to be able to share my finds this week.

#1 Vital Proteins Collagen Water

This stuff is so good! I was a little hesitant at first when I found out the only ingredients in the Original flavor were collagen, lemon and water. I was pleasantly surprised thought that it turned out soo good!

Vital Proteins also came out with other collagen water flavors: Blackberry Hibiscus, Blueberry Mint, Lemon Ginger and Strawberry Lemon. They are lightly sweetened with fruit juice, monk fruit and have 10g collagen per serving! As I’ve written about specifically in this post, I am sold on collagen. Better hair, skin, nails and healthier gut lining? Yes, I will take all of those things.

I am definitely trying the Blackberry Hibiscus and Blueberry Mint next. They sound absolutely divine. If you haven’t tried Vital Proteins, their collagen is life-changing. The original Collagen Peptides are awesome as well as the Vanilla Collagen Creamer.

#2 Pre-Workout Cherry Drink

I have been making this cherry drink every day for the last few weeks and I don’t see myself getting sick of it any time soon! I wrote about the cherry juice I’ve been using the last few weeks in this post and have been loving it still for muscle recovery and improved sleep.

I use cherry juice, collagen peptides (yes, the same ones from above!), liquid zinc and sea salt. Fast carbohydrates, muscle recovery from both the cherry juice and collagen protein, electrolytes from the sea salt and a daily boost of zinc. All blended up for 10 seconds to get really nice and foamy – it’s a perfect drink if you ask me!

I’ll either make this drink pre-workout or before I go to bed to get the most benefit from the cherry juice and collagen that I can. I have also tried this recipe with fresh-squeezed orange juice in place of the cherry juice and it tasted exactly like a creamsicle!

#3 The Spiralizer and Insprialized Everything by Ali Mafucci

I am looooving using my Inspiralizer lately!! It’s so much fun. I wanted to branch out this weekend and spiralize something new. Enter: apples! It’s so satisfying to watch a fruit or vegetable be sprialized and this was no exception! Apples are a perfect match for the Inspiralizer.

I have written about my love for the Inspiralizer before but have a totally new appreciation for it lately. Using different fruits and vegetables really with the Inspiralzier really helps me to eat more of them! Not only am I excited to eat the curly veggies, but it challenges me to cook in new ways and explore different options and textures. I have been loving my Turkey Veggie Noodle Soup lately as well as some pan-fried curly parsnips. YUM.

The picture below is from a new project I am working on! Totally grain-free, nut-free and refined sugar free this Paleo Apple Cobbler is SO GOOD. It is sure to please any picky eaters and is a great after-meal dessert or afternoon snack. Soon I will be sharing what this new project is, but for now I am just going to tease some recipes 🙂
