Happiest of Mondays to everyone! I hope your week is off to an excellent start – or that you’re taking steps to make it excellent!
Nom Nom Paleo Magic Mushroom Powder
I have been making my own from Michelle’s website, recipe here, but lately have LOVED being able to find the powder already made at Whole Foods stores!
I think it is just so great that there are pre-made spice blends out there that don’t contain fillers, additives or preservatives! I adore the umami flavor that the dried porcini mushroom brings and honestly use this stuff on everything.
I especially love it on scrambled eggs, chicken, ground beef and roasted veggies. I’m getting all excited just talking about it!
I’ve been self experimenting with this powder all week and I have been loving it! Vitamin C is super crucial for preventing illness and sickness.
And since I was sick for over a week I was pretty much ready to try anything. The taste is mild and a little sour thanks to it being extracted from acerola berry. I am such a big fan of experimenting with different supplements to see what works and what doesn’t.
While I likely wouldn’t use this everyday I am really liking it for getting over a cold and will probably keep using it until cold and flu season comes to a close. I believe first and foremost that sleep, stress management and diet should come before supplementation but like having the help of this single source vitamin C!
This sauce is THE BOMB. For those of you who haven’t tried Tessamae’s dressings yet, you absolutely have to!! Get on it! While they are sold at most health food stores, you can also find it here on Amazon.
I also love love love their Barbecue Sauce and Ketchup! Big love there. Sugar free and sweetened lightly with dates I love using these when I’m on a Whole30 and even when I’m not! I’ve come to love the taste of condiments without extra sweetness and really appreciate the super clean ingredients that Tessamaes uses!
The hot buffalo sauce is mildly spicy but doesn’t leave your mouth burning like some other hot sauces do! I have been using it on practically everything.
I use it as a drizzle on meat and veggies, on wings and as dip with ranch for veggies! Oh, and these little beauties (insert drooling emoji here).
These mind blowing-ly awesome little cauliflower bites are super simple. I dunked cauliflower in the hot sauce, put the pieces in the air fryer for 15 minutes and came out with brilliantly crispy bites. They almost taste like chicken buffalo bites!
